Since her beginnings she has favored research on color and form, papers, artist's books-understood as transcripts of mental states. Presence and absence, opacity and transparency, geometry and randomness, elements that are only seemingly contrasting, characterize the work. The reference to the natural world implicit in certain forms is made explicit in the chromatic range that characterizes the work, but the abstraction from the real datum distorts and exceeds the initial reference. Lives and works in Ticino.
